Why we need your support…

Funding

The Williams Syndrome Foundation is a small charity almost entirely funded by the kindness of our members, and their friends and family, through donations and fundraising activities.

We are the only UK charity specifically supporting families affected by Williams Syndrome, providing: information, guidelines, support, connection and events across the UK.

Where do your donations go leaflet

Fundraise

Every fundraiser makes a real difference. Your support helps provide vital research, care, and life-changing resources that support individuals and families affected by Williams Syndrome.

Without our fundraising community, the Foundation would not be able to exist.

Awareness

Very few people outside of our WS community have heard of Williams Syndrome. A broader understanding of WS in health, education, social care and local communities would hugely benefit our families.

We would appreciate your help in spreading awareness of this rare condition.

Share Your Story

Sharing stories is critical to our work. They can raise awareness of WS and of the WSF with the general public and inspire the financial donations that we need to run our services and fund research.

They help healthcare workers, educators and social care practitioners to understand WS better and therefore help us make the changes needed for those living with WS. And stories allow us to share experiences, triumphs, and challenges within the WS community, to help others live better with WS.

There is no more powerful way to show the impact WS can have than to hear directly from those living with the condition.
