By filling out a Gift Aid form, charities like the Williams Syndrome Foundation can claim 25p for every £1 that you donate.

JustGiving

Setting up a JustGiving page is the quickest and easiest way to let people know you’re raising money. Visit justgiving.com/wsf and follow the instructions to set up your own fundraising page. JustGiving pages with a fundraising target raise 46% more money.

Text-to-donate

Text to donate means anyone can donate to the Williams Syndrome Foundation by simply sending a text. It’s great for on-the-go donations.  

Simply text DONATE and the amount you would like to make: WSF 20, WSF 10 or WSF 5 to 70085. There is also the option to add Gift Aid to your donation.

Shout it from the roof tops! 

Once you have chosen what it is you are going to do and set up your Just Giving page, the next step is to shout it from the roof tops! The more people who know about it, the more donations you’re likely to receive.

Social Media 

Create an event or group on Facebook and share regular updates. Take lots of photos and video updates if possible. Don’t forget to always include your Just Giving link and tag in the WSF.

Local Media 

Get in touch with your local media. They love to hear about events big and small happening in the local community. Download our template press releases to help get you started.

Don’t forget not everyone is on social media so email, text or call to let others know what you are doing. 

Paying in the money you have raised

Online 

All donations sent through your Just Giving page will come directly to us, so there’s no need to chase up donation money. Plus any money that comes through after your event is over will come straight to us as well.
